    Our technicians have conceived C-One Yamaha-Minarelli as a platform to completely unify technical solutions and external and internal dimensions with all Malossi C-One models.
    Malossi C-One uses the same cylinder kits and transmissions on all its models for both scooter piaggio and Yamaha / Minarelli scooters, unifying two worlds
    always separated to enhance and enhance the strongest elements of both.
    C-One for Yamaha has been designed to be totally Plug & Play for all scooters equipped with Yamaha / Minarelli 50 cubic centimeters liquid-cooled engines: in fact, it does not require any modification to the frame and, inside, it can house the entire Malossi products destined for the RC-One range, presenting themselves as a revolutionary solution
    for the development of racing components for ALL scooters.
    THE TECHNIQUE
    The cylinder base has been inclined by 10 ° with respect to the original shaft-gear axis. This innovative device has finally allowed Malossi technicians to position the engine mounts in front of the fuel system, eliminating once and for all one of the biggest Achilles heels of the stock Yamaha / Minarelli engine casings.
    However, a modification to the compartment under the saddle is necessary.
    The base of C-One Yamaha-Minarelli has two different stud seats to accommodate either Malossi cylinders with through studs or the cylinders of the Flanged Mount family with flange fixing and short studs with max Ø47.6. The advantages of this solution open the door to the possibility of designing completely new cylinders.
    The seat destined to house the reed valve has been significantly modified thanks to the most modern three-dimensional fluid dynamics simulation software that have allowed
    Malossi technicians to find the ideal odds and dimensions.
    The automatic mixer and the mechanical water pump have been eliminated to minimize dispersion and the installation has been prepared
    in a native way of the Malossi internal rotor ignition.
    In terms of cycling, C-One for Yamaha is intended exclusively for scooters equipped with a rear disc brake as standard and does not require the alternative use of brake shoes. The wheelbase has increased and with it the stability and precision when cornering, while the gear compartment has been significantly reduced in size by overlapping the gear wheels. The increase in wheelbase and internal diameters made it necessary to use the starter cover for scooter piaggio .
    All C-One crankcases for Yamaha are supplied complete with the components necessary for installation. In fact, in consideration of the considerable technical differences compared to the standard unit, Malossi has decided to include in the package also the reed valve, the covers and a special wheel pin to use the original rear wheel and make C-One perfectly interchangeable with rims and Yamaha / Minarelli hubs. A special rear mudguard is also available as an option to protect and keep the carburetor clean, now positioned at the rear.
    The new crankcases were designed and manufactured in Calderara di Reno at the Malossi headquarters, one of the most advanced research, development and production centers for special parts for engines and scooters. They have been dreamed and created with only one goal: to produce the most innovative racing component for scooters ever.
